About Canada

Canada’s been voted the best country in the world to live; and with good reason. There’s Vista’s of astonishing beauty, cities more enthralling than theme parks and friendly locals; whose hospitability is warmer than their snow jackets…

Canada’s scenery simply speaks for itself. A country of towering green cedars, inspiring mountain ranges and sky-blue lakes as transparent as the air is fresh; makes the great white north a hot spot for any adventurer. British Columbia in Canada’s West, is home to some of the world’s most celebrated snowfields, including: Banff, Big White and world famous Whistler-snowfield for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

As a country with a rather crisp climate, Canadians have excelled in a number of winter sports over the years, winning their own winter Olympics in 2010. Ice hockey is the national sport and live games are as exciting as they are physical. Public ice rinks can also be found in most cities around the country.

The country’s wilderness is also brimming with imposing wild life, from Bears and beavers to otters and wolves, all making for one heck of an Instagram photo.

And if you’re more of a foodie than a photographer, Canadian eats have got you covered. Vancouver is the country’s culinary capital and home to some of the world’s best sushi, containing more Japanese restaurants than there are pubs in Germany! But if you want a real taste of Canuck cuisine then it has to be poutine. The delicious combination of chips, gravy and cheese is all that’s necessary to get you through the colder months. Or, if you find yourself in the West a signature Quebec snow-cone of maple syrup and fresh mountain snow is always worth a try.

Canada has every ingredient you need for a memorable holiday abroad!
