About Ireland

Ireland is the second largest of the two British Isles and is bordered by the Atlantic in the West and the Irish Sea in the East. Its luminous green landscape and rich history make Ireland a truly mythic place. The weather is quite changeable and a rainy morning can easily turn into a bright and sunny afternoon. The climate is mild in winter moderated by the Gulf Stream and temperature rarely drops below freezing. The summers are moderate as well with temperatures occasionally as high as 30° C. The Irish are a friendly folk and usually welcome all visitors warmly.
