Mid- and Long Term Volunteering
Program Description:
- Volunteers are required to work at least 6 hours a day, 5 days a week and to contribute to daily chores.
- Holidays will be organized according to the Thai calendar and volunteers will be able to have a longer break after each two months of service. Any longer break should be discussed and arranged with the coordinator.
- When at the base volunteers will only cook and receive vegetarian meals; they will not be allowed to consume or stock alcohol and smoking should be limited to restricted areas (especially when students are present).
- The living conditions are simple and Thai style: there is no hot water, washing machine or telephone in the house, and volunteers sleep together on the second floor. If volunteers have special needs, those should be communicated to the office when applying. We will try to accommodate those needs when possible.
