This program offers candidates a chance to further their career by taking an internship in a renowned company in Argentina. By living in Argentina candidates will have the opportunity to develop their Spanish skills in the best environment available – full cultural and language immersion. Specific fields may have the following restrictions:
- Law: placements are only available from March to November. All applications must be submitted by October 31st.
- Education: placements are only available from March to November; with a mid semester break of 2 weeks in July. All applications must be submitted by October 31st.
- Health: the activities of the participant will be limited to shadowing the local professional. Hands on work with patients cannot be guarantees (even for qualified health professionals).

Application Requirements
- 18 to 35 years of age
- Language: Basic knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- Qualifications/background: High School degree and ongoing university or college studies related to the field the applicant would like to do the internship

Visa Requirements
As regulations are subject to change at short notice it is advisable to check with the Argentinean Consulate for the latest information. Participants must have a valid passport for the entire duration of their program. Participants from a country included in the Schengen Agreement do not need to get a visa beforehand. The Immigration Office in Argentina regulates the entry and stay of foreigners in the following way:

Maximum stay of 3 months: Entry with tourist's visa

Maximum stay of 6 months: Before the expiration of the 3 months' permit, renewal for an additional 3 months paying a €30 fee in the Immigration Office or by bordering country (Chile, Brazil, Uruguay or Bolivia)

Stay of over 6 months (up to 12 months): Before completing 6 months, renewal for an additional 3 months at a bordering country (Chile, Brazil or Uruguay)

Spanish Courses
The Spanish sessions are based on conversation, using the topics proposed by the students to work with the idiomatic notions of that level. Everyday life materials are used such as local newspapers and magazines, movies, songs, etc., as well as specially prepared exercises and games.
Class size: 4 to 8 students, for didactic reasons there are never more than 8 students in a session, as small group lessons favour the interaction between students and the variety of activities. |

Course Options
Regular Sessions: for foreigners staying longer than one month in the country
- Schedule: 2 group sessions a week (1.1/2 hours a day)

Example of a weekend immersion course:
Day 1
- Simulation “At the Airport”: Check in, Flight Attendant instructions, Customs
- Simulation “At the Hotel”: Check in, Welcoming speech
- Breakfast: During breakfast reading the paper and commenting on the news, revision of breakfast
- Classroom project: for example, preparing a presentation – useful expressions for formal discussion
- Lunch: Conversation during lunch (business role play), revision of lunch
- Shopping – scavenger hunt

- Downtown: attendants spend the day in a five-star hotel. Some special activities proposed: yoga classes, interaction games, drama classes, debates and shows
- Countryside: attendants spend the day at local providers hotel facilities in Cañuelas. Special activities include sports, swimming classes, outdoor games, debates and shows.

Journalism Training
This program provides an all-round learning experience for future journalists. Intensive Spanish classes, journalism seminars and a professional internship in the journalism field are just some of the building blocks of this training program in Buenos Aires. Participants will have the opportunity to refine their journalistic skills, learn and practice new skills and consult a professional journalist during their stay. Topics include the Argentine media and social landscape, political parties and movements, regional and international issues. Also to be discussed are techniques for improving investigative, reporting and interviewing skills and internship editors will be available for consultation to foster the effectiveness, timeliness and newsworthiness of participants’ article ideas.
