Ireland is the second largest of the two British Isles and is bordered by the Atlantic in the West and the Irish Sea in the East. Its luminous green landscape and rich history make Ireland a truly mythic place. The weather is quite changeable and a rainy morning can easily turn into a bright and sunny afternoon. The climate is mild in winter moderated by the Gulf Stream and temperature rarely drops below freezing. The summers are moderate as well with temperatures occasionally as high as 30° C. Professional Internship

 

The Professional Internship program is designed for university students/mature adults over 18 years of age who would like to go to Ireland in order to gain work experience in their specific area of study. The unpaid internship program allows the candidate to reach an overall understanding of the working environment in Ireland together with an unequalled opportunity to experience Irish culture and lifestyle.   Internships are available in the following sectors: Marketing/Sales Tourism Accountancy Insurance/Assurance IT Pharmaceutical General Business And other sectors available on request

 

Internships with a duration of less than 3 months are also possible, but are available in other areas, e.g. Catering, General Office Administration, Childcare, Hospitality, Equestrian etc.

 

Length: 3-6 months

Lead Time: 3 months

 

 

Application Requirements

• Aged from 18 years old

• Intermediate level of English

• Completed and signed application form

Available at additional charge

• Airport Transfer 85 Euros each way – Bray (other locations on request)

• Host family accommodation: 185 Euros per week on a single room and half-board basis

 

Fees*

• Application Fee: 400 Euros +
• Placement Fee: 500 Euros

 

The placement fee is reduced from 500 Euros to 400 Euros if four weeks of homestay accommodation is pre-reserved.
