Unpaid internships can be arranged in companies and institutions in Berlin. A German course of min. 4 weeks is required before internship commencement. As host companies insist on a personal interview, candidates will receive the definite address and acceptance from the selected company once in Berlin.

- Knowledge of German at level B1 by internship commencement

German Courses
Candidates can select from either General German or Business German courses.
General German
- Standard Course – A group course in the morning.
- Intensive Course – Combination of group course in the morning (Standard) and a mini group course in the afternoon.
- Crash Course – Combination of group course in the morning (Standard) and individual tuition in the afternoon. Ideal for students who have particular needs and objectives.
- One-to-One – Individual tuition. Ideal for students who have particular needs and want to improve their German very fast.
Business German
- Business German – The language of negotiations, meetings and presentations, business correspondence, and telephoning. Clients learn how to understand/explain graphics, diagrams, and statistics; how to read/write memos, business letters, reports, brochures in German and how to communicate in discussions and business meetings.
- German for Lawyers – Different legal forms, concentrating on European and German law. Clients learn how to read, to understand and formulate juridical phrases in German and will gain confidence in their usage of German in juristic matters. On request meetings with German lawyers can be arranged.
- German for Journalists – Germany’s print media, the most important radio and TV stations as well as multimedia groups will be introduced. The course backs up German skills like telephoning, information gathering, skim-reading, drafting short exposes and manuscripts as well as interviewing. If requested visits to editorial offices in Berlin can be arranged.
- German for Teachers – This course reviews and discusses latest developments in teaching German as a foreign language. Clients can finetune their German and update themselves on recently published specialized literature and a variety of materials designed for teaching German. Visits to educational institutions can be arranged.
Starting dates for adult German courses are any Monday all year around on all levels except for complete beginners.

Au Pair Program
This Au Pair program is ideal for caring and creative individuals with childcare experience. A basic level of German is required; however many Host families in Germany are also very interested in Au Pairs who only speak English with the children. Au Pairs can stay in Germany for six to twelve month and receive a stipend of minimum EUR260 per month.

Application Requirements
- Are between 18 and 24 years old
- Have a basic knowledge of the German language
- Have completed secondary education
- Completed Au Pair Application form (preferably in German, alternatively in English)
- Signed agreement of terms and conditions
- Letter to the family
- Few photos of the au pair caring for children
- One childcare reference
- One character reference (filled out by a superior, teacher, minister etc…)
- Passport copy
- Resume
- Health certificate
- Criminal record clearance (or Blue Card)
- German certificate
- Copy of driver’s license (if applicable)
Included in Program Fees
- Placement with a German host family
- Visa assistance
- Pre-departure interview with au pair
- Consultation meeting for host-parents and au-pairs on arrival
- Full board and lodging provided by host family, including a private bedroom
- Minimum of EUR260 stipend a month paid to the au pair
- On-going support to au pairs for the duration of the program
- Insurance package for the duration of the program
